We are just about to wrap up the 12th year for the Central 4D and we are excited to cap it off with our 12th annual Central 4D Finals! The format for the Finals will be pretty much thesame as in the past. We are all looking forward to a fun filled weekend of barrel racing.
Now for some details... The Finals Warm-up Jackpot on Friday will start at 1pm with exhibitions and 5pm with the jackpot. Friday night will have $250 added and is open to everyone and will count toward Central 4D Finals qualification credit and year-end points for Oklahoma members. It should be a great race and a great way to kick off the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will be open to qualified members only and will have $1000 added each day in the Open class. Saturday's go-round will start at 10am. Immediately following the 1st go round will be the 5th Annual Central 4D Stick Horse Futurity. The stickhorse race is open to family members of qualified members. We are going to have awards for each participant, so everyone will have to be pre-entered.
Following the Stick Horse Futurity will be "Ross' Reception & Pot Luck Dinner." Please plan on participating. We have a kitchen at our disposal, so we hope everyone will be able to bring their favorite covered dish. If you live a long ways off, chips and pop are always needed. Last year was lots of fun and there were a number of exceptional dishes, so you won't want to miss it.
Sunday will kick off bright and early with church services at 8am and the second go-round beginning at 10am. The second go running order will be reversed (late entries will run first). Following the second go, we will have our Finals and Year-End Awards presentation.
Please don't forget that preentries must be RECEIVED by September 10th and that you MUST pre-enter in order to get a stall (we'll only have as many set up as we need.) The host hotel for the event is the Best Western Chickasha. They have great rates for us so make sure you tell them you are there for the Central 4D Barrel Race. There are about 75 hookups at the facility available on a first-come, first-serve basis (no reservations available). We also want to let you know that the stall barn has been remodeled and all stalls are now on concrete. Shavings will be available at the event or you can bring your own. We want to thank each of you for your support throughout the past year and we hope each of you have enjoyed the season as much as we have. See you in Chickasha!
